Pharmacological Actions :
P harmacodynamics :    Amoxicillin belongs to β - lactam antibiotics and has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity. The antibacterial spectrum and antibacterial activity are basically the same as ampicillin. The antibacterial activity against most Gram-positive bacteria is slightly weaker than that of penicillin, and it is sensitive to penicillinase, so it is not effective against penicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus. It has strong effect on Gram negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, proteus, Salmonella, Haemophilus, Brucella and Pasteurella, but these bacteria are easy to produce drug resistance. It is not sensitive to Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Its absorption in monogastric animals is better than that of ampicillin and its blood concentration is higher, so it has better curative effect on systemic infection. It is suitable for respiratory system, urinary system, skin and soft tissue infections caused by sensitive bacteria.

Pharmacokinetics :   

 Amoxicillin was quite stable to gastric acid, and was absorbed by 74% - 92% in single stomach animals. The contents of gastrointestinal tract affect the absorption rate, but do not affect the degree of absorption, so it can be administered by mixed feeding. The serum concentration of amoxicillin was 1.5-3 times higher than that of ampicillin.

D rug I nteraction :   

(1)When combined with aminoglycosides, it can increase the concentration of aminoglycosides in bacteria, showing a synergistic effect.

(2)Macrolide, tetracycline and amide alcohol have interference effect on the bactericidal effect of this product, so they are not suitable for use.

Function and Use :

  β - lactam antibiotics. For the treatment of amoxicillin sensitive Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria infection.

Dosage and Administration :

C alculated by this product. Oral administration: one dose, 0.2-0.3g per 1kg body weight, twice a day for 5 days; mixed drink: 0.6g chicken per 1L water for 3-5 days.

Adverse Reactions :

I t has strong interference effect on normal flora of gastrointestinal tract.

Precautions :

(1) It is forbidden for laying hens.

(2) Penicillin resistant Gram-positive bacteria should not be used.
