Product Name Dexamethasone 0.2% I njection
Composition Contains per ml:
Dexamethasone   base ------- 2 mg.
Solvents ad .------------------ 1 ml.
Indication Acetone anaemia, allergies, arthritis, bursitis, shock and tendovaginitis in calves, cats, cattle, dogs, goats, sheep and swine.
Dosage and Administration For intramuscular or intravenous administration:
c attle : 5 - 15 ml.
c alves, goats, sheep and swine : 1 - 2.5 ml.
d ogs : 0.25 - 1 ml.
c ats : 0.25 ml.
Contra-indication 1Unless abortion or early parturition is required, administration of Glucortin-20 during the last trimester of gestation is contra-indicated.
2Administration to animals with an impaired kidney or heart function.
3Osteoporosis.
Side Effects 1A temporary drop in milk production in lactating animals.
2Polyuria and polydypsia.
3Reduced resistance against all pathogens.
4Delayed wound healing.
Withdrawal Period For meat : 3 days .
For milk : 1 day.
