Q:Do I need to do calibration every time I start the device?
A:For the first time using, calibration is needed. You do not need to do it later if there is no positional movement between the device and the display.
 
Q:Why is the MaxPro plug-and-play?
A:Unlike other similar products, the MaxPro has processing chips inside. It performs image processing, position calibration and touch handling with Tallpic's efficient algorithm on board. This allows the MaxPro to perform as a standard USB HID multi-touch device.
 
Q:Why is Tallpic's Plug-and-Play products more smooth and quick?
A:Compared with the normal USB camera based software solutions, Tallpic's pure hardware interative product such as MaxPro/TVT, are free from image transfer delay, image compression/decompression delay and loss,etc.  
 
Q:What operating systems does the MaxPro support? Why my Android system can't work with MaxPro?
A: In principle, any operating system that supports standard USB multi-touch devices can be used with Maxpro. For example, Windows,MaxOS, Linux, Android. But In some Android products, some necessary components/files are removed to simplify the system.This makes it not capable to recognize MaxPro. Usually an Android engineer can easily solve the problem.
 
Q:My USB cable is not long enough, what can I do?
A:Normally an USB cable can not be more than 5m. If you need longer USB cable, you can choose an USB active repeater cable. Or you can choose  the wireless model of MaxPro.
 
Q:How to choose among the models of MaxPro?  
A:If you will install it on a projector, MaxPro-VST is suitable for the very-short throw projector, MaxPro-ST is suitable for the short throw projector, MaxPro-LT is suitable for the long focus projector. However, the MaxPro can be installed independently from the projector. Thus MaxPro is not restricted by the projector type.
 
Q:Why there is a position shift when writing?
A:There are several possible reasons: 1.If the whiteboard is not flat, the position of the convex and concave portion will deviate. 2.The position of the pen was not accurate when doing calibration. 3.The display area is not complete especially when the computer is connected to the projector or LCD through a VGA cable, please check the display.
 
Q:Can I use the product when there is strong light?
A: This product is for indoor use. If the sunlight directly shines at the screen, it may interfere with the reception of the pen signal. Thus the device can not work.
 
Q:Why a lot of incorrect touch noise appear when a LiDAR camera or mobile phone with LiDAR is close?
A:Because most LiDAR products emit 940nm laser.It's a strong noise source to our sensor.
 
Q:What are the advantages of Tallpic's infrared pens?
A:1)Tallpic's infrared pen(P20B,P21SC, etc.) are all-direction pressure sensitive other than axial sensitive. While most other known products are only axial pressure triggered, they are difficult to be triggered in some cases.
   2)Most of Tallpic's infrared pen uses super capacitor as electrical energy storage device. Its special advantages are: No battery pollution; No material cost; Unlimited charging life cycle; Fast charging and no worry for the battery's suddenly running out; Light weight and not subject to air transport restrictions.
