Sodium acid pyrophosphate:

Properties: White powder, relative density 1.86, soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, water solution and dilute inorganic acid when heated, hydrolyzed to phosphoric acid, hygroscopicity, water absorption to form six crystalline hydrate, when heated to 220ºC to form sodium metaphosphate.
