Color coated steel coil (PPGI/PPGL)is a product made of cold-rolled steel coil and (aluminum) galvanized steel coil after surface chemical treatment, coating (roll coating) or composite organic film (PVC film, etc.), and then baking and curing. This product is produced in coils on the continuous production line, so it is also called prepainted steel coil. It not only has the properties of high mechanical strength and easy forming of steel materials, but also has good decoration and corrosion resistance for coating material.

PPGI means prepainted galvanized steel coil, and PPGL means 55% galvalume steel coil; Our parameter list of color coated steel coil is attached below:

Coating Type of PPGI & PPGL

Polyester (PE):  Good adhesion, rich colors, wide range in formability and outdoor durability, medium chemical resistance, and low cost.

Silicon modified polyester(SMP ) :  Good abrasion resistance and heat resistance, as well as good external durability and chalking resistance, gloss retention, general flexibility, and medium cost.

High Durability Polyester(HDP):  Excellent color retention and anti-ultraviolet performance, excellent outdoor durability and anti-pulverization, good paint film adhesion, rich color, excellent cost performance.

Polyvinylidene Fluoride(PVDF ) :  Excellent color retention and UV resistance, excellent outdoor durability and chalking resistance, excellent solvent resistance, good moldability, stain resistance, limited color, and high cost.

Polyurethane (PU) : Polyurethane coating has the characteristics of high wear resistance, high corrosion resistance and high damage resistance. Under normal circumstances, the shelf life is more than 20 years. It is mainly used for buildings with severe environmental corrosion.
