What is gelatin?
Gelatin is pale yellow, unscented, flavorless, hydrolyzed and granular. Gelatin is extracted from fresh, unprocessed bovine hides/bones, and it is a high molecular weight protein (without fat and cholesterol) composed of 18 amino acids.
Because of its biodegradability, good biocompatibility and film-forming property, Gelatin is widely used as capsules material (hard capsules, soft capsules, micro capsules, etc.).

About Edible Gelatin
Edible gelatin is a granular, hydrolyzed, odorless and tasteless substance with a pale yellow color. It is a high molecular
weight protein (without fat and cholesterol) that consists of 18 amino acids and is derived from bovine hides/bones. It has a jelly strength of 80-320 bloom, a mesh size of 8-60 and a viscosity of 1.0-5.0mpa.s. It is widely used in food industriesand pharmaceutical industries.
Edible Gelatin Application: Some of the uses of edible gelatin are gummy candy, marshmallows, ham, yogurt, fining wine and juice, jelly, jelly bean, pastilles, caramels, toffees, licorice, cheese products, mousses, desserts, sour cream and canned products.
