1.  What is the difference between Organic pigment yellow and Dye yellow?

The fundamental difference between pigment yellow  and dyes is that dyes can be dissolved in the dyeing medium used, while organic pigment  yellow   is  neither soluble in the medium in which they are used nor in the substrate to be colored.
The output of organic pigment  yellow accounts for about a quarter of the total output of dyes.
