1.Zincalume Strip Coil General knowledge
The plating coat of Aluminium-Zinc Alloy Armor plate is Zn-Al alloy, and its composition is 55% Al,
43.3% Zn and 1.6% Si. The plate is of smooth surface and excellent corrosion resistance of the
atmosphere, which is 2 to 6 times higher than hot-dip galvanized sheet of the same thickness of
plating coat. After through three processes, including payoff reel, crop shear and welding, enter
into the continuous annealing furnace. The optimum temperature range of the plating coat is
630°C~660°C

1) Storage
lt is supplied passivated or oiled to temporarily limit any risk of black rust formation
2) Forming and joining
Forming and joining techniques currently used for uncoated sheets are suitable for Aluzinc coil
3) Painting
Can be painted after degreasing and surface treatment when delivered oiled. Aluzinc coated
with easyfilm thin organic coating can be painted directly, without any prior surface treatment
4) Weldability
In electrical resistance welding, welding current must be suitably regulated and regularly adjusted
