Galvalume steel coil, also known as Aluminum zinc alloy steel coil, or alu zinc steel coil, has better mechanical advantages than traditional material.

1. G alvalume steel contains 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc, 1.5% silicon and other microscale component.
2. G alvalume steel coil possesses extreme anti-corrosion property. I t adopts aluminum as the oxidation film, and also the zinc-iron electrochemistry principle , which makes the anti-corrosion property 2~5 times better than galvanized steel at the same coating level.
3. G alvalume steel coil possesses the amazing appearance known as diamond grain. This nice appearance can be applied on building interior decoration, and exterior decoration panel.
4. High reflection to heat and light. T he reflection ratio of galvalume steel is above 0.7, twice bigger as the galvanized steel at the same coating level.
5. High temperature resistance: galvalume steel can bear high temperature over 300 Celsius degree for more than 120 hours.  

The  core procedure of galvaluming  process is putting the carbon steel sheet into the molten aluminum zinc pot, about 450 Celsius degree, then a n alu  zinc layer film adhere to the base carbon steel sheet.

Detailed Steps Of The Galvalume Steel Sheet Processing

Step 1:
Pre-treatment: When the cold   rolled coil arrives at the workshop,firstly going  through the uncoiler machine, through the degreasing section and the reduction furnace, the steel coil surface is cleaned and the components are adjusted to the proper ratio for the next galv alum ng procedure.
Step 2:
Core section: The uncoiled steel sheet goes into the molten aluminum zinc pot. After   the   pot, dense alu zinc layer adhere to the surface of the steel sheet. Then it is cooled and shaped by the cooling tower.
Step 3:
Post-processing: The steel sheet comes into the post-processing stage. Going through procedures including finishing, straightening and passivation, finally recoiling. At this point, the well known 55% galvalume  steel coil is done.
