PDC (Polykristalline Diamond Compact) Cutter ist eine Art superhartes Material, das polykristallinen Diamanten mit Wolframcarbid-Substrat bei extrem hohen Temperaturen und Druck kompakt macht.

Da PDC-Cutter aus Diamantkörnung und Wolframcarbid-Substrat bestehen, kombiniert es die Vorteile von Diamant und Wolframcarbid und zeichnet sich durch hohe Abriebfestigkeit, hohe Schlagfestigkeit und hohe thermische Stabilität aus.
